It could not be immersed in the river and it could not be managed separately in every temple, so it was going with wet waste. Thum Creative Paryavaran Dakshata Kruti Munch is implementing an innovative project to make premium masala agarbatti out of Nirmalya. The project is being implemented in Pune in collaboration with Cummins India Foundation & supported by Pune Municipal Corporation.

Masala agarbatti is available in 3 series and 20 fragrances Shrikrushna, Panchyaag, SaptChiranjeev. With the help of Pune Municipal Corporation, Nirmalya in temples is collected and using Nirmalya powder along with Panchgavya, various ayurvedic herbs and natural aromatic extracts, premium quality natural masala agarbatti is made. At present 4 women have got employment due to this project. At least 20 women will be employed in the future and as sales increase, so will other employment opportunities.

Thum Creative arrange display and sale stalls at various places, societies, market places as well as in various Companies and organizations.
